Anthony Stiller made a new action game for the Commodore C64. The game Sopwiths and Pterrordons is made with the Shoot'Em Up Construction Kit (SEUCK) and is based on the games 1942 and 1943 but in the prehistoric times. In the game you are a pilot and must shoot down the flying dinosaurs.

Ed Mackey and Al Mackey released the full version of the game MegaBall for the Amiga as freeware, included the source code. MegaBall is a breakout-style game and it was one of the best ShareWare games for the Amiga. The original ADF images are available for the installation of the game.

The web page Games That Weren't has had an interview with Paul Kubiszyn from the game company XLCUS. The company made games for the Commodore C64 in the mid nineties. A few examples of the games that Paul worked on are: Square Scape, Amorphous and MegaForce.

The team of Gamebase 64 released a new version. The total number of games is now more than 24450 entries, 450 more then the previous version. And many files are updated. The goal of Gamebase 64 is to preserve all software that was made for the Commodore 64 computer.
