Thomas Winkler started a new project. He wants to develop a hardware replacement for the 1541 disk drive. He is using a STM32F4 Discovery development board with a 168 MHz CPU, 1 MB Flash RAM and 192 kB RAM. With this system it will be possible to emulate all serial (IEC) communications, but also Speed-DOS und Professional DOS are possible.
