On the web page Flashtro.com you can see many cracker intro’s with your browser. The original intros from the Amiga, Atari-ST, Dreamcast, PC, Playstation etc. are converted to Flash. JSL made another graphics collection for the Commodore C64. In this pictures slide show you can see eight new Spray can designs from JSL. The slide show was made by Stirf and the music is from Fanta.

Er Ist Friedlich Eingeschlafen is a new demo for the Commodore Plus/4. The demo is made by the group Monarchy. The programming was done by Csio and Frog and the graphics are from Luca. This demo is dedicated to Otto von Habsburg. Otto von Habsburg died on the 4th of July 2011 and was the last Emperor of Austria and King of Hungary. Failure in 8 Bits is a demo for the Commodore C64. Thee demo won the second place at the Dekadence Dataparty 2011. The demo is made by Xwd, Roz, Duce, Flex and Micron.

Booze Design released a new demo for the Commodore C64. The demo is made by HCL, JackAsser, Dane, RaveGuru, Archmage and Jailbird. The demo won the first prize at the LCP 2011 in the C64 demo competition.

The Cracktros web page added more than 15 new cracktros to the database last couple of weeks. A cracktro, also known as a crack intro, loader, or just intro, is a introduction from the cracking crew who removed the copy prevention. The new cractos are from the following groups: Vision Factory, Wanted Team, Unit A, TRSI & Zenith and TRSI.

Erich released the Botticelli Bilderdisk 36 for the Commodore C16 and the Plus/4. This double-sided diskette is filled with pictures in the Botticelli format. The Magica viewer is used to display the pictures. The pictures are a mix of handmade and digitized pictures.

Perfect Visions 3 is a demo for the Commodore Plus/4. This demo was made for the Busodore 2011 demo party. Perfect Visions 3 is made by Ati and the music is from Csabo. The demo uses the following effects: Vector (wireframe, solid, glenz), DYPP (2x1 chars, with Y-zoom) and FLI.

The web page ADA (Amiga Demoscene Archive) has added new demos. The new demos are: Onion (Neural and Rebels), Kheper (Moods Plateau), Massive (Skarla), Spitz (Focus Design), Fourskin (RNO), Human Traffic (Ghostown and Loonies), Shake Off The Dust (Elude) and Swansong (Dekadence).

Bauknecht and The Electronic Knights won the 8-bit category at the Revision 2011 party in Germany with the demo States United. The demo is made by Mad, Degauss, Decca, Nero and Krill for the Commodore Plus/4.

Tokra released a demo for the Commodore VIC-20 on the Revision 2011 party in Germany, and it reached the 5th place in the "wild" category . The demo is a slide show that uses a new graphics-mode. This mode offers 104 x 256 pixels and 3 fixed colors in each of the 256 lines plus 1 color per 4 x 8 block. The hardware requirements are a VIC-20 (PAL) with a 16K RAM expansion.

Shadow of the group Noice made a new demo where he displays 1123 Sine dots, at the same time, on the screen in real-time. You can listen to the Airwolf Mix, Big Fun Mix, Heartland and Stroh SID while watching the demo.

Lash is a new demo for the Commodore C64 made by the group Fairlight. The demo won the first place at Datastorm 2011. Code: Abaddon, Hollowman, Oxidy and Pantaloon. Music: Magnar Harestad and Wiklund. Graphics: Louie64 and Tempest. Linking and loader: Pantaloon and Krill.

Erich/Unlimited has released a new picture disk called Hires Color 5. You will find 32 images on the two disk-sides and all images use the hi-res graphics mode. The picture show uses the Magica driver.

Mind over Matter is a music demo of SID music. This demo is made by rambones (Ancients, HVSC Crew, SIDwave). You can download Mind over Matter from the Commodore Scene Database.

The demo group ORB released a demo for the Commodore PET. This demo demonstrates a new graphics mode. You can watch the demo on YouTube. The demo and the source code is also available for download from the Pouët web page. The demo is made by Ultra (code), 4mat (code and music) and Ilkke (graphics).

The demo portal C64.ch has added all the demos of the X-2010 party. They also added all the demos from the Syntax Party (2007-2010). C64.ch is web page with many Commodore C64 demos with information about the demos with screen-shots, programmers, graphical artist, musicians and a rating.

The Richard Joseph Tribute was released by Onslaught, Protovision and Samar Productions. The SID's in this tribute are: Cauldron II Sinus Milieu Studie, Defender of the Crown, For Domination #01, Monster Museum, Rimrunning, RJ, Robocrack und Wizkid Music.

A new demo for the Commodore Plus/4 was released on the Arok #12 party. The demo is coded by Attila and the music was composed by Luca. The demo won second price at the Arok party in Hungary.

There is a new trackmo demo from TRSI called Going Lowres. The demo was made by Streetuff, Linus and Veto and won 6th place at the Breakpoint 2010 Wild Compo. To view the demo you need a Commodore VIC-20 with a 16k RAM expansion and a disk drive. For people without an 16k RAM expansion there is a music collection and logo on the diskette. You can also view the demo in the VICE emulator.

Erich released another Hires Color disk. This time a 2 sided disk with 32 converted high resolution images for the C16 and Plus/4 computer. The images are displayed using the Magica viewer.

K.C. has updated his IntroBase64. In this update: 200 new intros. IntroBase64 now uses GEMUS.DAT. Changes and additions in the documentation. The IntroBase64 can be downloaded as a rar-archive which includes all necessary files.

Pasi Ojala released a new demo for the VIC-20. This demo runs on a un-expanded VIC-20 with a disk drive. The music for this demo was made by Anders Carlsson. All the parts of the demo are explained on Pasi's web page, there is a NTSC and PAL version of the demo and the source codes are also available.

After adding another 154 intros the total has reached 4000 C64 intros. A few examples of the Latest intros are: Accept, Akrak, Bassline, Computer Freaks Association, Dynamic Technology, Excess, Fatum, Genlog, Hokuto Force, Lazer, Mental, Onslaught, Paralax and many more.

There are another 203 new intros added to the database. This time the intros are from well known groups. The people behind the web pages are now working on building a new web page.

Kees Zaaijer released version 1.3 of the Introbase. IntroBase64 is a database like the GB64 collection. IntroBase64 tries to preserve intros that crackers made for games they had cracked. The database has now about 3500 intros and more than 5500 screen shots. The complete Introbase system can be downloaded. If you want to help Kees with this project please send him an email.

New demo for the Plus/4. This demo is released by a new group called Monarchy. The coding was done by Attila (Csio) and the graphics are from Fischer (Derrick). The demo was 4th in the Arok 10 demo competition. You can download the demo for your Plus/4 or you can watch the demo on YouTube.

The web page of C64 Intros had some problems but the pages are back (thanks to Slaygon). And there are 160 new intros and 18 new groups. With this update there are also lots of intro fixes. The total of intros are getting close to 3500.

On the X2008 party the demo competition was won by an amazing demo. This C64 demo called Edge of Disgrace by Booze Design is the new standard in demo making. Dane, HCL and Jailbird spent about a year on this demo. The best way to look at this demo is on a real C64 or an good emulator. But it can also be found on YouTube.

JSL is a very active C64 graphics artist. In this year he released more than 25 pieces of art. Take a look on the Commodore Scene database for all his work.

Andreas Gustafsson released a demo for the Commodore VIC-20. Andreas released demos in the past for systems like the Commodore C64, C64 DTV, a Texas Instruments TI-83 calculator and the PC. This time he did a demo on the VIC-20 with a 512 dots per frame plotter in a 96x160 pixels screen. 32 characters DXYCP with 8x8 animated characters. 3D vector in a 96x160 screen. You can download the demo and many others from his web page.

The VIC-20 demo The Next Level by PWP won second place in the oldskool demo category on Assembly 2008. The demo can be run on a real VIC-20 or in the VICE emulator. (disk-drive, no expansion). PWP (Pers' Wastaiset Produktiot) is a Finnish demogroup founded in 1994. PWP is known for their story line based demos.

The C64intros web page added another 100 new intros to the database. This brings the total up to almost 3200 intros. The intros are from more than 900 different groups.
