Another release of the Plus/4 emulator. Here's a list of the changes made: Support for custom drive ROM images. Added parallel 1541 drive emulation. Optional breakpoint opcode ($F2). /BREAK command line parameter now accepts hexadecimal addresses (0xADDE). True drive emulation and high accuracy mode are now the default. Couple of bugfixes (custom joystick keys etc.).

The only "8-bit" Commodore computer missing in VICE is the C64 - DTV. Jason Winters has made a wiki to add the C64 - DTV support to VICE. The DMA engine, DTV opcode, memory banking, verbessert VIC-II and the Blitter are implemented. There are a few things to do but most DTV demos are already running.

Command line options: /DISK#:image for attaching an image to drive {8,9,10,11} at startup, /TAPE:image for attaching a TAP/WAV image on startup, /TYPE:text for typing 'text' on startup, NOSTART will suppress autostart. Andreas Varga ported the GEOS system to the portable Nintendo DS. You can use GEOS with the stylus on the touch screen. Andreas also included a virtual keyboard like in the Frodo emulator. He made a little video that you can download from Google Video.

In the new version of the Plus/4 emulator Yape there is a new addition. The Toshiba 6721 speech integrated circuit has been emulated. This means that Yape is now a V364 emulator as well. The difference between a normal Plus/4 and the prototype V364 is a bigger keyboard and the speech capabilities. Another feature is the performance mode for very slow PCs. In this mode the speed is up by about 3 times but true drive emulation is turned off and the TED is not 100% accurate. Download the latest version from the web site.
