The Commodore Users Europe is introducing retro programming guided study groups. These are structured workshops designed to help newcomers learn retro programming through active, hands-on learning. Participants work through assigned tasks over 1-2 weeks, then share their progress and findings in group sessions. Programming languages: BASIC 65, BASIC V2, BASIC 3.5, BASIC 7 and 6502 ML.

Lunar Lander 2026 is a new game for the Commodore Plus/4 computer, developed by Volker Dirr. The game is a modern implementation of the classic Lunar Lander game, developed in TRSE. The game includes 12 levels of increasing difficulty, smooth scrolling, animated exhaust plumes, and an audible altimeter that functions like a parking sensor.

Visual Assembler is a desktop app that lets you learn and create C64 programs with a drag-and-drop, block-based editor instead of typing assembly by hand. It generates 6502 assembly and machine code in real time, making retro development faster, more visual, and easier to learn.

DOSBox is a DOS-emulator that uses the SDL-library, which makes DOSBox very easy to port to different platforms. DOSBox is available for Windows, BeOS, Linux, MacOS X and Amiga.

FRGCB (Finnish Retro Game Comparison Blog) is a web page that writes about retro games. But the difference is that this blog compares the games between the different computers like the C64, Amiga, MSX, NES, CPC, DOS, etc. The most recent comparisons are: Ballblazer (Epyx, 1985) and Thanatos (Durell Software, 1986).

Image2PDF is a program to convert images like PG, PNG, BMP, IFF/ILBM, GIF, TIFF or PCX to a PDF file. But it can also convert a PDF file to an image file. Image2PDF is developed by Bernd Assenmacher, and is available for Amiga OS3, OS4 and MorphOS.
