Soci from the group Singular released a grafix program for the Commodore 64 called FunkPaint. It can be used to edit Hires, Multicolor and DTV pictures. The program supports a REU for undo and has mouse support.

Bill Buckels made a web page that's about the Aztec C compiler. Aztec C is a programming language for a variety of platforms including MS-DOS, Apple II DOS 3.3 and PRoDOS, Commodore 64, Macintosh and Amiga. The purpose of this website is to provide a free internet archive for various versions of the Aztec C Compiler with documentation, source code and samples.

Two AROS distributions have been recently released. VmwAROS LIVE! and a new WinAROS version. Krysztof Smiechowicz and Barry Nelson are working on removing bugs. Tubexx is an ARexx script that enables you to watch youtube.com contents on your MorphOS machine. Youtube.com is a video storage, where anybody can upload his own videos and share them with every Internet user in the world. Its main interface is web based, but video playback is handled via a Flash applet, thus impossible to enjoy directly with the MorphOS technologies currently available. Gregg developed a faster version of the MMC64 D64 Reader which utilizes DreamLoad instead of the slow Kernal routines. It will read a disk side in about 80 seconds instead of almost 10 minutes.

Hively Tracker is a tracker program based upon the AHX format created in the mid '90s by Dexter and Pink of Abyss. The format was relatively popular, and many songs were created and used in scene productions and games. AHX was designed to create a very SID-like sound on the Amiga. HivelyTracker features: Multi-channel (4 to 16 channels), Channel stereo panning, Two commands per note, Ring modulation. HivelyTracker was coded by Xeron/IRIS, GUI design and skins by Spot/Up Rough.

Kick Assembler is the combination of an assembler for doing 6510 machine code and a high level script language. With the assembler functionalities you can write your assembler programs, and with the script language you can write programs that generate data to use in the assembler programs. With AmiPodder you can subscribe to podcast feeds, download episodes and then listen to them on your Amiga or transfer them to a portable music player.
